Bernhard Rogge

Bernhard Rogge was a German naval officer who, during World War II, commanded a merchant raider. Later, he became a Konteradmiral in West Germanys Bundesmarine.

Rogge was born in Schleswig, the son of a Lutheran minister, and was himself devoutly religious.
